Well, if they ran the SU25 and saved off the logs it would be there. Have
they already moved all of this up to the Q and P systems? If so you are in
a fix and repair mode.

Subject: Authorization Objects: Change In Structure Of Auth. Object - Consistency Check

Hello Basis experts,
This is my first question here. Excited, as I found many helpful information in the past.

Question:
I am at a customer site and saw that the customer had an upgrade in a third party software. During this upgrade also the structure of the custom authorization objects changed. New fields were added to existing objects.

It seems the customer didn't pay attention and didn't update the roles accordingly. So of course the transactions are not working anymore as they are supposed to.

It is only a limited number of objects (15) and the vendor provided a template role. However the customer already created roles in his own namespace/added other transactions etc. and doesn't want to use the template role.

Is there a consistency report in SAP which checks auth. objects assigned in roles and can tell if all object are defined are up-to-date regarding their structure?

Regards,
Daniel
