You might have upgrade your JAVA client. Some release levels cause issues.
We use 1.7.0_40 and this version works fine with us... but I believe patch level 25 is malfunctioning.

Subject: Integration Builder PI - JAVA 7 --> Cannot Connect
Dear experts,
We are facing connectivity issues connecting to the integration builder in the java stack of our PI system.
We can connect to the ABAP and to the ERS thru NWDS but not to the integration builder.
It must be something related to the security policies in our company pcs since our colleagues from other companies can connect with no problem using the same VPN.
We have compared the JAVA security and it is the same level (Low) we have deactivated the antivirus (symatec) the Windows firewall, IE version ... but we still cannot connect.
The Java application gets download (takes long but works) and the integration builder screen pops up asking for user and password (it takes like 15 minutes until I'm allowed to edit the box and put the user and pwd) and then it hangs forever, doesn't dump, doesn't do anything (Java process seems to continue consuming memory)
We have clean the cache, signature... everything I see in forums, but nothing.
Can you please let me know what can be different from one set of computers to the others? |
