Portal will connect to the backend SRM system (ABAP) through system
connections/SSO. If you have access to the portal system, login to
http://<host>:<port>/irj/portal
and goto System Administration --> System Configuration --> System
Landscape --> Systems.
Under this folder, there will be a folder created for your SAP SRM system.
You can check the connection parameters. It would have been configured for
direct connection to your SRM's CI node.
Please check and change it to Message Server connection if possible. If you
change that it will login to all instances in the SRM system.
