Hi Elizabeth,

Why are you still using SolMan 7.01, this is not any more supported by SAP!
SolMan 7.1 has an other structure and more features, which are not compatible.

To make this working you need to develop your own adoption in the old SolMan,
I think this is wasted time and money, SolMan itself needs to be an close to the highest
SAP release which you are planning to use.

I expect your current problem and many others like MOPZ are solved with an Upgrade.

Hi Guys,

We are Currently on sap solution manager 7.1 SP11 upgraded from 7.0 EHP 1.
I'm not able to forward incidents from our VAR customer service desk to our VAR service desk.

Below are the actions done VAR service desk 7.1 .
1.IMG >IT Service Management>External Service Desk

RFC based configuration
a.assign roles for technical user
b.Create RFC connection to external system

WEB base configuration
a.assigned roles to technical user
b.activate service
c. configure service provider
d. configure consumer

Defined value mapping for service desk interface
Defined extended interface mapping for service desk customizing
Set Text filter
Specify target transaction type from external service desk

Below are the actions done VAR Customer service desk 7.0 EHP1
released webservice
specify target transaction type from external service desk
assign roles to the technical user
create http connection
create logical port
define value mapping for service desk interface
configure interface to solution manage service desk
defined extended interface mapping for service desk customizing
get solution manager service poer
set text filter

Apart from the above actions,
1.Do I need to configure anything else so that I can forward messages between the two service desks? e.g like action profiles
