It is strongly suggested not to add something like dates, or document numbers as Segment Levels (that's what you are asking). That means you will increase segments everyday (even when analytical perspective those segments are similar), and it will affect reporting performance severely.
Should you need to take daily summary, maybe you should use KE24 which shows CE1xxxx, to set subtotals, or filtering there. or create addon report.

I have a running COPA report. I want to add the BUDAT (Posting date) to the selection parameter of this report. What steps to be followed to achieve this? The Posting Date field is already available in my COPA table (CE1XXXX).
