multiplied by the relevant price (standard price or moving average
price, depending on the price control used).
In order to correct this inconsistency price changes for this material
are necessary. These price changes can be posted using the transaction
MR21.
The first price change will force the system to re-calculate the correct
values.
Then, please, post a second price change to go back to the previous
situation (with the correct price).
For example:
Material A in Plant 1000.
Standard price: 5 EUR per PC.
Total stock: 10 PC.
Total value: 0 EUR.
This total value is incorrect. It should be: 10 PC x 5 EUR/PC = 50 EUR.
To correct this situation post a price change:
In MR21 change the price for the Material A in the Plant 1000 from
5 EUR/PC to 5,10 EUR/PC.
Then change back the price to the previous and correct value:
In MR21 change the price for the Material A in the Plant 1000 from
5,10 EUR/PC to 5 EUR/PC.
After these two price changes have been made the system should have
now recalculated the correct total value: We would have:
Material A in Plant 1000.
Standard price: 5 EUR per PC.
Total stock: 10 PC.
Total value: 50 EUR.
Then you should be able to make any necessary goods movements for this
material.
