Again a higher Salary will help you in getting a later jump because companies see your last CTC no matter which company you worked for. Another advantage in working for a small company is you get more responsibilities and you are close to seniors and the management and that's good. Whatever decision you take just be positive with your decision and be ready to take up any challange with a smile. Like that you will learn more faster.

Just because you are in IBM does not mean you will get a good project or stuff to learn. For that matter there is no guarantee you will learn in syntel. It all depends on project and that is something you don't control. The only thing you can ever come closely to control is what you get paid for spending close to 9 hours every day, from Monday to Friday. Learning subject is subjective. Some of the smallest nameless companies are doing real work unlike some big companies. To me, the stuff in the resume matters, not the companies you work or worked for. They may be big, but if you can't do the given task, it doesn't add up to much. Warm regards, Hari | | Reply to this email to post your response. __.____._ | _.____.__ |
