Reply from asarmasroon on May 2 at 1:20 PM Hi, I'm little bit confused about your scenario. However this is how WIP and Variance is calculated in SAP. Try to match your scenario with below model and understand. - (Cost by order Scenario) 1. After Order release and confirmation at order is done at month end Actual Cost = WIP (no GR) 2. After PDLV (partially delivered orders) at month end. Actual Cost - GR = WIP 3. At status delivery and Teco - goods delivered and TECOd Actual Cost - GR = Variance Check as if your time line mentioned are correct again. i.e. when TECO status is active?. Is this the first time you have noted this? Check your configuration if it is common in all. Further your understanding is correct. In an Ideal scenario it should calculate WIP not Variance at month End since you had not done TECO. Even if you had fully delivered if you could not do TECO by 31st midnight then it will be considered as a WIP regardless of its status DLV. Let us know the update. And if you need further help. Hi, My query is. *On 4/1/2014 at 00:12:43: Order was TECO'd so status is not DLV & TECO.* *How in the previous line you have mentioned the order status is DLV after confirmation . * *Further can you just elaborate on how much qty the variance is being calculated ? And are you using RA version "0" only ? * Regards Indranil Sen IBM GBS | | Reply to this email to post your response. __.____._ | _.____.__ |
