Transaction types are not linked to GL accounts. They are used to specify
the type of transaction i.e. acquisition or sale of an asset, etc. Each
asset class should be assigned to GL accounts through account determination
in ao90 tcode and if you want to create your own transaction types, create in
tcode-AO73.

GL accounts can be assigned, via account determination, only to Asset Classes.
You have to define account determination and within them you can assign GL depending from depreciation area.
