We have a requirement, client presently manually booking the accrual prepaid expenses.now they want to be booked thru accrual engine automatically and they are following US GAAP accounting principle.
I saw in the standard settings the periodical posting are done through Lunear method.But our scenario is if the initial amount is incurred on before 15th of the month , the accrual amount should be posted to the current month.if the initial amount is incurred after 15 th of the month, the monthly accrual amount is to be accrued in the next month. Please tell me where we should configure this scenario and tell me the settings and logic if necessary.
And I would request you please share config docs and testing scenarios for prepaid exps asper accrual engine.
