Question from Angela on Feb 26 at 7:34 PM I wish to procure the new material (item B) once stock of the old material (item A) is depleted.
In the MRP4 view for the old material(B), we inputted discontinuation indicator = 1 and input the follow-up (new item B) material number making and left Eff.-out date field blank. This is allowing MRP to drive requirements for the new material (item B) once stock is depleted of the old material (item A).
I'm getting purchase reqs for item B which is great but I'm also getting both components in all future purchasing and planned reqs and Pos.
What attributes or steps are we missing in order to get only item 'B' in all future recommendations once item 'A' inventory is depleted?
