What you could do is (i) run a list of vendors (eg MKVZ), then (ii) run a list of purchase orders for the period of interest (eg ME80FN), then compare the vendors between the two lists - those in the MKVZ list but not in the ME80FN list have not had any purchase orders placed against them in the period.
