Hi -

You will find good comparison document on google. Here are some of the inputs

1. QC is Test management tool. Can be used for generating metics as well. It is not an automation engine so that you can automate using QC.

2.QTP is Test execution engine. Test cases authored or written in QC can be pushed to QTP for execution of the test scripts.

3. TAO is SAP Tool. It can not help either as Test Management Tool or Test Execution engine. It helps to generate components and will be sent to QTP for execution. TAO itself can not be used as test tool. It has to integrate with QC and QTP. SAP will also sell Licenses for QC and QTP along with TAO.

4. eCATT has its own limitations. You need SAP ABAP skills to modify and customize the automated script. It is fit for few scenarios not for all scenarios.

Hope this clarified.

Thanks

Test automation is not recommended for first time implementation - for test
management HPQC or Solman are both excellent - Solman is free -
