to pop in VOTXN and capture the required text in the material master. So
select sales order item radio, change, then select the procedure you use,
then for the text you would intend to change the Text is obligatory to Y
Text will be displayed when copying. You may need to add a text such as the
internal note along with an access sequence to copy it from the material
master but this is standard copy control stuff so you would need to read
about that.
If you need conditional pop ups only when certain other conditions are true
within the current order then you will need to do some user exit coding. So
look at the available exits in SAPMV45A (they are all documented in SPRO
with what each one is for) but USEREXIT_CHECK_VBAP would most likely
suffice although it gets called a lot so you would need to consider how to
decide when to issue the message so that you don't bug the user every time
they change something else.

Thank you all for trying to help. Indeed this is my first time entering the forum and probably the question is too general although Chris O understood what I need but he did not provide the answer how to do it.
In Sales order entry on item level I would like to have pop-up that alert me from using certain P/N due to compliance with the latest SW version. But it could be alert for any other reason like availability etc.
So now I hope the question is clear and does not aggravate anyone - if you have an answer I'll be thankful. |
