Reply from Donna on Jan 21 at 12:52 PM Vijesh, There are two ways in which you can do this. For the purpose of this answer, I am assuming the quotas are generated through time evaluation (that is, they are generated periodically, not a flat accrual through RPTQTA00). 1) Using IT2013 Quota Corrections. create a record for the quota type. Enter the hours to be deducted. Select reduce generated quota and Only transfer quota correction immediately. These corrections will show clearly on PT50 Quota Overview. 2) Use IT2012 Time Transfer Specifications. You would need to configure a time transfer to reduce the Quota. IMG: Time Management > Time Evaluation > Time Evaluation Without Clock Times > Processing Balances > Time Transfer > Define Time Transfer Types. After creating the time transfer type, go to Define Specifications for Transfer to Absence Quotas. Here you tell it which quota type to affect. These changes will not show up clearly in PT50 Quota Overview. therefore method 1 is preferred. If you are doing this as part of the initial data conversion, your other option is to only initiate the employees with their remaining amount of quota. If you are doing initial conversion and you want to see all previously used quota, I recommend method 1. DS

In case of leave entries, can we directly deduct contractual leave from quota, instead of making any entry in IT 2001? Eg; if an employee utilized 400 contractual leave, we need to deduct 400 directly from his quota, without entering the details in 2001 by using date entries. can we do it? Please advise, Regards, Vijesh | | Reply to this email to post your response. __.____._ | In the Spotlight Become a blogger at Toolbox.com and share your expertise with the community.
