I need your help to configure our BI 7.02 (ABAP stack) system in
EP 7.02.
We would like to use web bex designer but unfortunately we
have BI abap only installed in our BI environment. hence we need to connect our
BI system with EP (JAVA stack).
The problem comes here.. we have already connected ECC to EP for ESS & MSS functionality and the current reference system is ECC alias, where we are using user mapping between ECC & EP system.
Now we need to configure BI also to EP. I tried to configure connector by selecting SAP system using dedicated application server, also configured all required settings including alias.
But, when I am trying to use user mapping, the BI system alias is not showing in the list, this is because our current reference system is ECC.
Please help me to configure BI connector in EP, I don't want to disturb ECC connection.
1. I have created sm59 RFC with registered program ID in BI and JCO
RFC in EP j2ee engine. But RFC connection is still not working. Here I gave
gateway host as EP hostname and gateway server is sapgw00. I have exchanged
SSO certificates in EP j2ee engine and BI system.
2. I could not generate supportdesk.zip file from EP due to user mapping issue.
3. I have also installed my EP system with required BI components.
Kindly help me to resolve the issue. I am stuck since 1 week.
I have gone through the note but no luck
