Hi Sridhar,
Please explore the following way:
Before executing the asset report, click on the Dynamic selection icon and
click on 'Posting Information' and then click on 'Deactivation on' option.
Click on "Multiple selection" Button by the side of the date field in
Dynamic Selection window and click on "Exclude Ranges" tab. Here you enter
01.01.1900 in the first column and 31.12.9999 in the second column and then
execute the report. By this method you can exclude all the assets which
are deactivated ie., which are having the "Deactivated On" is filled in.
But please note that all deactivated assets, for whatever reason, will be
excluded.
I presume that you know that once an asset is sold fully, the date will be
filled in the asset master in the "Deactivated on" field.
Please let us know the outcome.
Regards,
..Sastry

Subject: Asset History Sheet Report Issues

Dear Friends,

The user has the following requirement.

We use the OARP/Asset History Sheet at month end for Fixed Asset reporting. When we disposed of an asset, the asset would not show on this report, however since we brought on the assets at a value of 1 following the XYZ acquisition even when we dispose of the asset it still shows on the report.

Do you know if there is a way for us to have these deleted from the report so that they don't show again.

Please suggest.

Regards
Sridhar
