thank you all for trying to help me. i am in the process of migrating the SAPScript PO we are using to the SMARTFORM and am also using the excellent example on SAPTECHNICAL.COM as suggested.
According to SAP, i have to "implement" SAP Best Practices Solution in order to get the SMARTFORM that i need (MMPO_A & MMPO_L). Although my Basis admin is looking into it, i am not hopeful that i will get the solution in need in a timely manner.
