Hi Gurus,
We would like to implement a lending process for some assets. I am just wondering has the standard SAP any process for this function?
The asset is lend based on the fixed interest rate.
If the asset is rent for 60 months and based on the interest rate, the customer needs to pay 51$ per month as rental.
The below postings needs to be done on the monthly basis
Invoice
Dr: AR 51
Cr: Finance Lease Receivable 51
Dr: AR 3.571 (51*0.07)
Cr: Output GST(7%) 3.571 (51*0.07)
2. Payment
Dr : Cash Account 51
Cr : AR 51
Dr: Output GST(7%) 3.571 (51*0.07)
Cr: AR 3.571 (51*0.07)
Journal for Lease
Dr: Deferred Interest Income 11 (660/50)
Cr: Interest Income 11 (660/50)
We would like just avoid the manual postings of invoice and journal.
Any idea? Any best practice?
