What do you mean by you are able to post balance sheet related line items
without profit center ?
Profit center is essentially a field relating to P & L related G L Accounts
and they are auto populated ( via the inheritance indicator ) into balance
sheet related line items of the document based on a splitting procedure
comprising distinct rules. It is the default behavior of SAP as regards NEW
GL. That is what is all document splitting about.
