Dear Vidya Sir..

Shinu Here..

Sir, All configuration that you have explained are in-place...

When I am giving manually , 2 different Profit center, Splitting also
happening properly..

but if I am not giving PC, system not stopping the transaction, It is
saving without profit center.

I am not able to find the issue..

GL Assigned, Document types assigned, Zero balancing GL defined, PCA
Update made mandatory.

Still the issue.

Subject: Document Splitting Error Profit Center Validating

Hi

I assume that you are able to post the document but without updation of the
profit center field .

Please check

If the document type which you use for posting has been configured to suit
document splitting. It is possible that the document type is not
configured with a business transaction and a business transaction variant
which facilitates document splitting.

Moreover, are you manually entering the profit center during document
posting in the revenue related line item?

Have you activated the inheritance indicator?

Have you activated the zero balance indicator for profit center ?

Have you activated profit center scenario?

First of all, are you sure that document splitting has not been deactivated
for your company code ( initially , document splitting is activated at
client level.....but it can be subsequently deactivated for a company code
).

As regards field status groups of related accounts, the status of profit
center field should be left as optional and you say that you have already
done so.

Is there a difference in the number of line items of the posted document
when you switch between the entry view and the GL view ? Even if the number
of line items are the same, do you see that the vendor reconciliation
account is being used ( and not the actual vendor code ) against vendor
line item when you see the document via the G L view?

Please check all these aspects.

Regards

VidhyaDhar
