Reply from Jet_Austria on Sep 28 at 3:07 AM Hi Juan/Aritra, Thank you for your replies. Yes, I know event 5, that is what was already implemented in my code, I'm already getting the description when the user presses ENTER. But what we needed is BEFORE I press ENTER, it should have all the materials numbers auto-populated without manually inputting the material numbers. The part where you've just clicked "New Entries". The scenario is like this: 1. tcode se54, Table maintenance view, enter view name, no restrictions and click on "Maintain". (all records shown). 2. Click "New Entries". <-- Now this is where I need the code that should show all (material number) entries from my custom table. So when I press ENTER (which is already implemented), it will now get corresponding material description. Thank you, Jet Austria

I only know a few how to add events in table maintenance (event 5) on how to auto-populate other fields like the description of a material after the user presses "ENTER". But we need the materials to be auto-populated after I've clicked the "New Entry" button (getting these values from a certain custom table). So that the user will not need to enter these materials manually anymore. Is that possible? I have been tinkering with the codes but I only know how to get the material description after pressing ENTER which means the materials are still manually entered. Kindly help. Thank you, Jet | | Reply to this email to post your response. __.____._ | In the Spotlight Become a blogger at Toolbox.com and share your expertise with the community. Start today. _.____.__ |
