screen or report. The only place that I've had it cause a dump is if you
then try to export it out of SAP.

The special character I've seen is Microsoft's "long dash" the replace a regular dash with in their editors (word or outlook). This is undefined in SAP and causes abends. A function module can replace the bogus characters. Had to execute this when user cut/ pastes from email. Look for "...replace_special_characters..." . |
