It sounds like your question is worded from a "user" standpoint. Since this is a ABAP programming forum I don't know if the answer I am about to give you will be helpful, but here goes anyway:
Table SRGBTBREL can be used to determine if a particular document has an attachment. Taking purchase order as an example, you can query this table thusly:
SRGBTBREL-RELTYPE = 'ATTA'
SRGBTBREL-TYPEID_A = 'BUS2012'
SRGBTBREL-INSTID_A = Purchasing document number
If a record is found in SRGBTBREL with these selection criteria, then the purchasing document has an attachment.

How to distinguish orders with attachments, from the ones with NO attachment?
If there is a field like Long Text, I would know sooner that there is an attachment.
Right now I have to open each item to look for attached files... it would be quicker if I could see this in the displaylist. |
