Reply from horacio zapettini on Aug 24 at 1:41 PM Terry, as you suggest, I'm posting a summary of the messages sent: As I'm a bit shy and not an ALV expert, I sent Terry a message with a question (to know the type of alv they was using - whether it was OOP or it was a standard FM (one of the Reuse_alv...) Then debugged an ALV demo (BC_ALV_DEMO_FULL or something like that and got to a couple of FM's: SAVE_LIST and WWW_LIST_TO_HTML or something like that). Everything else is posted :) Horacio

Inbuma, I'm not sure what you are getting at in your post, but it doesn't seem relevant to my particular situation. Horacio, I got your personal messages through Toolbox. (It's probably best to stick with forum posts so that the information is available to everyone.) I found the same or similar suggestions in SCN, and experimented with them. This technique was only partially successful, I think because it relies on converting ALV grid to a standard list, and in doing so some of the ALV formatting is lost. I am now considering a "brute force" method of doing a transaction recording of the steps to produce and download the HTML output from the Grid toolbar, then incorporating the recording as a BDC in the report program. Stay tuned... Cheers, Terry | | Reply to this email to post your response. __.____._ | _.____.__ |
