Story :
There is a material that externally procured.
When this material comes to us then cut this material into 3 pieces.
This material`s UOM is EA.
And it needs to GI to finished-product for 1 piece among 3 pieces cutted.when operation is confirmed, So it enterd as 0.333EA in the BOM.
We use EA with no decimal, so it`s quantity is rounded off when we confirm the operation.
And I know EA can have decimal places but this is not concepted.
Progress:
That is problem so far, so we add alternative UOM for that material`s material master like below and set unit of issue as PC in the Plant data / stor.1 view.
3PC = 1EA
And modified 0.333EA to 1 PC in BOM.
Problem :
We guess this is dangerous to costing that material but we don`t know what exactly dangerous is.
In that case what should we consider and prepare the problem?
Is it ok if we do like this next fiscal year?
Please help.
