My client is going to do a fiscal year change, their current FY is 2012, started from August 2011 and ending on July 2012 and currently maintaining Accounting Fiscal year on 4-4-5 bases. Now they would like to change their fiscal year from August-July to calendar year (Jan-Dec).
To achieve this object they would like to take next FY as 'Shortened FY' and from Jan 2012 they will switch to Calendar year . So from October to December they will take a shortened FY. I wonder if how this shortened FY has to be configured? In particular :
in transaction OB29 i have to create a shortened FY,year dependent with 5 periods (from August to December 2012) ?
in period details how manage: Month-Day-Period-Year Shift?
