When you convert from ship-to party to a Sold-to party, you
are generally going from fewer active fields to more active
fields. In the standard system, the 0001 Account Group
(sold-to) has basic, accounting and sales views enabled. So,
when you go from a ship-to (typically only basic and sales
views) you are adding a record to the KNB1 table. Consequently,
you cannot go back from 0001 to 0002 because the XD07
transaction does not permit the deletion of the KNB1 record
(since it is probably associated with accounting records). If
you configured your own sold-to account group and it does not
contain the accounting (company) view, then you can switch back
and forth.
However, be aware that if a field is optional in one account
group but hidden in a different view or mandatory in a different
account group you can run into data validation problems.
So please check all the field in your ship to party and sold to party account group.

I am using XD07 to change the cusomer from shitp-to party to sold-to party. I am getting an error "The planned change is not allowed as the following field" , "groups would be masked by the new account group".
I am getting this message for 'Tax jurisdiction code'.
