I suppose you posted customer, sales and tax related entries but
failed to select a check box relating to asset retirement during
document posting. Had you selected the check box, you would have seen
another interactive dialogbox which would have prompted you to furnish
details of asset retirement and updated asset masters as well.
Try it out again, please

Accounting Entries are:
Posting key Account
01 Customer A/c
50 Sales_other Trading
50 CST Payable 5%
But No Asset Accounting Entries.
I guess some Linking is missing between SD and Asset..
