Reply from ha_tran on May 13 at 9:03 PM Hi, In several companies I have been involved, people often use service purchase order (instead of standard subcontract PO) to support the external refurbishment of repairable items. The fundamental differences between these two options are - 1) The repairable items are treated as stock items in case of subcontract PO; 2) The split valuation shall be activated in case of subcontract PO; 3) The repair costs are added to the stock value in case of subcontract PO; 4) It is feasible to track the stock movement and stock quantity availability in case of subcontract PO Cheers, HT

I want to be able to provide my customers with a decision tree on when to use one over the other. Has anyone any information or the pros and cons on when to use standard subcontracing or external processing? Appreciate any information | | Reply to this email to post your response. __.____._ | _.____.__ |
