Reply from Gui_Buy on May 30 at 4:18 AM did you activate MRP at the new plant and also activate the new material type to be useable for that plant? 1) Make sure value updated and quantity update is marked for all the material types in all plants where MRP is needed. It specifies that the material is managed on a quantity basis in the material master record for the relevant valuation area. The link between the material type and the plant is needed for requirement planning to see what the current stock level at a certain plant is. If the field "quantity updated" is not crossed, the requirement list will not be able to read the stock levels at that plant for that particular material type. In order for this step to be done, the material type first needs to be created / defined in customizing. Also value updating must be crossed. This is needed in order for production order to be able to be created. SPRO ? logistics general ? master data ? basic settings ? material types ? define attributes of material types 2) activate MRP in the plant: SPRO ? Production ? Materials Requirements Planning ? Planning file entries ? Activate MRP and set up planning file

I have configured a new plant / created a new material (FERT) / and added some stock. The stock is visible in MMBE with appropriate Batch no. But when I look in MD04 stock requirement list , I do not see anything. Can you pl give some advice as to what could be the reason for this and how can I rectify this.... thanks in advance....
