Either you will activate the QM functionality in your system which automatically puts your receipted quantity into QI stock and generate the inspection lot at the same time or simply use 103 / 105 solution to cater for your requirement.

We have a circumstance that we want to automatically hold some SKU's at the time of receipting the Purchase Order (PO).
I would expect this would be a blanket option for all PO receipts but thought I'd ask the question about having this for specific materials.
Example being new packing materials received for the first time. QA need to inspect and release them once okay received or alternatively apply "S" hold should they not meet specs. |
