Reply from Nikki Klein on May 24 at 1:22 PM Hi Mary The standard SAP process is that the Tax Jurisdiction Code must be on the Ship To partner. It will then be the default used in the tax calculation for the sales order. So that would save your sales order entry person doing anything specific. The best tax solutions out there (for SAP) are Vertex, Taxware and Sabrix. I'd contact eacah of them and start the conversation rolling. Nikki

We are only taxing in the United States. Most sales are not taxable; However, we do sell to end users via credit card and these are taxable. We want to purchase an external data file to load into SAP with the tax rates for each State/County. We want to have the Sales Order automatically select the Tax Jurisdiction Code (with the tax rates). The Sales Order entry staff should not have to determine the tax by figuring out which Tax Jurisdiction code to select. We do have an ABAP guy for any custom code required. Please advise what the best course of action might be for a cost effective solution. | | Reply to this email to post your response. __.____._ | _.____.__ |
