Reply from JG-SAPHR on Apr 8 at 9:02 PM Hi Nirmal, Normal procedure is: Paying for the period from suspension date is for the court to give a ruling. Then the bank needs to follow the court's orders. Depending on what is required, the re-instatement or removal of the suspension will be from that date. Or the suspension action may need to be deleted. If necessary, adjustment/s in IT 15 may be entered. Regards, JG
| | | ---------------Original Message--------------- From: nnnirmal Sent: Sunday, April 08, 2012 9:36 AM Subject: Salary Payment During Suspension Period The managing director (MD) of the bank is suspended permanently by the central bank i.e. controlling authority on the ground of inconsistencies. However, MD goes for appeal in appellate court and won the case and court got cancelled the permanent suspension order after one year of his suspension. Now, is bank responsible for payment of salary to him during the period of his suspension for which no service (consideration) is received by bank from him. Or the amount of salary can be recovered by him from central bank as compenstaion. Please throw clear views to this problem with precedent if possible. nirmal shrestha | | Reply to this email to post your response. __.____._ | _.____.__ |
