That's what I was trying to explain to my boss, just wanted to clarify if I explained to him.
Just wanted to understand if there is any other way from others.

If you use new general ledger and have activated profit centers then does
it not mean that you need profit center level balance sheets and profit and
loss accounts ? If so, then the idea of omitting profit centers in some
documents / G L accounts does not make sense. Nor do I think is such
reporting possible since your configuration would automatically populate
profit centers in all the line items of a document since this would happen
using the inheritance and mandatory field indicators.
