Reply from Kevin75 on Apr 6 at 9:55 AM Hi Anachagas, Frankly speaking KDB transaction is used to create Exch. Rate Keys which in its turn should be assigned the balance sheet accounts. It make possible valuating foreign currency amounts posted to balance sheet accounts. For the valuation of foreign currency balances, the system uses this key to find the accounts for gains and losses from the valuation. You specify which accounts valuation differences are to be posted to under the exchange rate difference key in the system. Hereby we talk about balance sheet accounts which can not have unrealized valuation differences. If not please describe the such situation. BR Kevin

In KDB transaction we define only Profit and loss accounts. How or where system define offsetting in case of for transaction KDB (unrealized exchange rate valuation)?? | | Reply to this email to post your response. __.____._ | In the Spotlight Become a blogger at Toolbox.com and share your expertise with the community.
