Yes, payroll won't process that employee unless you extend the end date of
the position. You can run payroll simulation and test the scenario.

I am trying to determine if an employee is in a position that is end-dated and the employee record IT001 etc... is not updated to an active position will this prevent the employee from being processed when the payroll schema is run?
