Hi Friend

Can you just explain the exact requirement with us, so that we can understand easily.
If you want to only the validation rule, you can search in IT toolbox, there is lot of post relating to your requirement that will help to know how to do the Validation Rule. First you have to understand where you have to set the validation rule ie whether you have to set in Document Header Level or Line Item Level.

In Validation rule there are Three steps ie
1. Prerequisites
2. Check
3. Message
In the first step you can mention what are the prerequisites for the line item and in the second steps we can check the field that you want to validated if the precondition given in the prerequistes is satisfied. In the next step you can give error or warning message for validation for the screen.

Subject: Best Practise for Creating a Validation

I need help in creating validations.
I know that there's GGB0 which contains OkC7 for CO validations and OB28 for FI Validations.
My concern what are the detailed steps for creating Validations.
Is there a best practice?
Is there anyway to link the validations created in CO to that of FI or do they need to be created in each i.e. created in OB28 then created in OKC7?
