I can't tell you if you will be able to delete the WBS element, although I am quite certain you will be able to either set its status to Locked (no more purchase orders), or to Closed (no more anything). Setting status is performed in CJ20N Project Explorer, or similar view. Before you can set status to Closed, you must first make sure there are no more open Purchase Order lines, and also make sure the AuC value is zero - if your WBS is part of an investment measure meaning there is an Asset under Construction holding the value of the transactions posted so far. The first step for you is to reverse all transactions (try AB08) that carried the inadvertent WBS element. Then run your asset support transactions such as Periodic Posting and Project System settlement, and perhaps you need to also run AFAB which is depreciation in case the value from your WBS had moved on to completed assets. Basically get to net zero on the inadvertent WBS. A less attractive way to attain net zero on your inadvertent WBS is to book a FI journal entry, with one line including the inadvertent WBS - and the other line including the proper one. Use the same commitment item. This is less attractive since it does not correct prior pieces of your audit trail. Regards
