Hi, all please read it again as i mistakingly write the issue in other way round so if you can help me out in this

I have one issue in which asset which was capitalized by AUC has capitalization date as 1 July 2008 with 5 years life and which was settled in the year Feb 2011. Now my user wants to calculate the depreciation from the month of july 2008 but as per the system configuration it is calculating from feb 2011.

Can you suggest how this might be accomplished? If I go with unplanned also what are all the things Ihave to do because as I understand unplanned won't update P&L a/c for that do we have to go for manual entry...correct?

Hi,

I have one issue in which asset which was capitalized by AUC has capitalization date as 1 July 2008 with 5 years life and which was settled in the year Feb 2011. Now my user wants to calculate the depreciation from the month of Feb 2011 but as per the system configuration it is calculating from 1st July 2008.

Can you suggest how this might be accomplished? If I go with unplanned also what are all the things Ihave to do because as I understand unplanned won't update P&L a/c for that do we have to go for manual entry...correct?
