For future reference, you can resolve the problem by setting up a work field as type f to receive the results of the calculation. Then move the work field to your xkomv-kbetr.
like this
Data: w_kbetr type f.
w_kbetr = ( your calc without all the adjustments of *1000 etc)
xkomv-kbetr = w_kbetr.
The type f is floating point. It keeps track of where the decimal is supposed to be. Then when you move it back to the fixed decimal point the answer is correct.
