try to valuate previous (seetharaman venkatesh prasad) answer as feasible.
The use of Assignement field permit to have detailed specification during the posting and then during the analysis.
Probably it could be less demanding method to have a result.

In case of Assets and Liabilities we can open sub ledgers in SAP FI, is it possible to open sub ledgers for Income and Expenses head.
For Example :- At present expenses of credit card charges and debit card charges are booked in one head. But for reporting purposes they want total for both separately. So they want to open separate GL code which I do not want because opening of GL codes are easy in SAP but to do other things in BI/BW takes lot of efforts.
