Hi,

This validation may be done through user exit coding in the includes LXPADU021 or 02. This is used by functions called in all Display/maintain Empl data modules. See existing code in this include.

Regards,
JG

Subject: Subsidy For Employee Loans

An Indian Employer offers a benefit of a subsidy for all the the employees who has Personal loan. The maximum available subsidy for this purpose is calculated at 30% of their ABS. This ABS is the amount that the employee used to receive as basic salary during the time when the loan subsidy was approved irrespective of any successive increments.
Currently the wage type 9001 is being used in IT589. However it does not mention the upper cap if 30%.

Requirement:
The 30% annual basic salary being upper cap has to be configured. If an amount exceeding this is entered for payment, an error must be thrown. Not the Warning but an error. Any idea how to go about this configuration?
This is not similar to Loan processing or adjustment. In this case employee holds loan from an external bank and not with the employer.
