Thank you for sharing your code with me. That was very generous. I am somewhat of an SAP newbie, but I am proficient in VBA.
How do you set up an RFC function in SAP? If it is too complex to reply in the post. do you know of a good resource for me yo reference?

Subject: BAPI for Downloading Inventory Data into a Spreadsheet
Hi,
I have a Macro that uploads material inventory online into an online portal. Right now, the material data has to be upload into the spreadsheet manually. I would like to right a program, either from Excel VBA or directly from SAP, that will download the target data into the spreadsheet. Here is a breakdown of the steps.
1) start macro
2) open SAP GUI object in Excel VBA
3) run ZSD043 function for values in Column w/ item identifiers
4) download target data into correct column
I figure I might need a BAPI to download the data into the target spreadsheet. ZSD043 generates a new spreadsheet each time it is run.
Here are my technical questions:
1) What are permissions/ security requirements I will need to have to run this BAPI?
2) How can include code from a report into a BAPI, (this is the ZDF043 T-Code I would like to run)
3) If implementing the report will be needlessly complex, is there a function that I could integrate into a BAPI to search the inventory values?
4) How do you choose a specific file to target download data too?
Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated.
