Dear Sadanand,
You should assign "WE" document type to the number range interval for the year 2011 in the case of material and accounting documents. In addition to that assignment of "WE" document type to the transaction (goods receipt) should also be made.

When I enter goods receipt against PO using t.code MIGO, the system responded
as,
" Number range for trans/event type WE in year 2011 does not exist"
Then I checked OBA7. I correctly entered document number ranges for document type
WE, still why it showed the error message i could not understand,
anyone could help me please regarding this,
