You should map all cost elements that are posted to in an order to a settlement cost element in the allocation structure. You may either take a group of cost elements like say, "personnel cost elements" and map them in the allocation structure to a settlement cost element say "personnel costs" or you may use the cost elements to settle as they are. Allocation structure is used to settle revenues amd costs to Account Based PA. This is the equivalent of "PA Transfer Structure" used in COPA where all the cost elements are mapped to value fields to generate settlement postings in COPA.
