You use the Selection screen text as input to your Smartform. You
condition the printing node for the text on the text not being blank.
What more do you need to know?

Hi all,
I am new to ABAP and having one problem.
User wants to print comments on the smartform i.e. whatever he/she will
write on the selection screen (on selection screen he/she wants a field
where he/she can write) should get print on the smartform. If he doesn't
write anything then blank space should not come (I can do it by using
append directly in the text).
Here is a sample letter.
Date : (current date) - Font Bookman Old Style 11

In this sample letter he/she wants the comments which he/she will give at
the selection screen.
I don't know how to do this. Please help.
