Was browsing for an answer to another of my issues when I saw this. It's a pretty simple fix and involves a simple setting in Excel 2007 or something similar in 2003. If I understand correctly, you are using the "Excel In-place" option inside SAP and clicking on that button only shows a blank spreadsheet inside SAP. This is what you do if you have Excel 2007. Go to "Excel Options" > "Trust Center" > "Trust Center Settings" > "Macro Settings" and Check "Trust access to the VBA project object model". Close ALL Excel and SAP windows. Start SAP and try again. This should work for you.

In the company I work recently we have been installed a new version of SAP, this new version contains in certain reports an icon to export the data to spreadsheet, (for example fixed asset reports) this function should be able to display inside SAP an excel view with the related information. In the company I used to work before we had this function and it was really helpfull because it saves you time on customizing the report manually on excel, actually in my old work we have this function...Now I'm trying to use the excel icon to export reports but the systems only display the spreadsheet without information!! Do you know if I need to configure anything to export the information directly to excel? | | __.____._ Copyright © 2011 Toolbox.com and message author. Toolbox.com 4343 N.
