QM15 probably uses FM's to accomplish its task. Try looking at some BAPI's that start with BAPI_ALM_NOTIF. There could even be some FM's that are not BAPI's as well. I'm sure that if you use a couple of those, you could build code around it without having to worry about copying the standard program, losing functionality when SAP changes the original program, etc.

4. Text for CDR
