T500C is "Currency for Public Sector"... Not sure why, but yes, that is what you need to change to get the currency to accurately reflect on IT0009. It's been that way for years, I think SAP just hasn't made a priority to rename it and since it works I have never checked for any SAP notes.

Hi SAP HR gurus,
I understand that company code drives the currency in IT8 and IT9.
However, I am unable to change the currency key in IT9 from Irish Punt to Euro. All the config relating to company code, personnel areas, currency, etc seems to be in order. The currency in IT8 is correctly coming out to Euro.
All config tables look correct. I am totally stumped!
Can anyone help me out?
